The 45ml travel size of Premiere's pre-shampoo concentrate, built around 8% pure acids. It is the step that does the heavy lifting in the Premiere routine: applied before shampoo, it strips out the calcium that hard water deposits in the fibre and repairs the broken keratin bonds underneath, so everything you use afterwards works better.

How to use

1. Apply generously to damp hair and massage through, section by section.
2. Leave on for five minutes.
3. Do not rinse. Layer Bain Décalcifiant Réparateur directly on top, emulsify, then rinse thoroughly.
4. Follow with Masque Filler Réparateur or a Premiere fondant.

Key ingredients

8% pure acid complex
The concentration that drives both the decalcifying and the repairing action.

Citric Acid
An organic acid that lowers excess calcium at the core of the fibre and on its surface, reducing the dull, lifeless look hard water leaves behind.

Glycine
An amino acid that penetrates the hair's inner structure to repair it once excess calcium has been removed.

Good to know

Leaving this on rather than rinsing it is deliberate — layering the shampoo over the top is what makes the routine work. Fragranced with citrus and mandarin over orange blossom and jasmine. Not tested on animals.
